University for Young People

Save the Dates!

Primary UYP

This program is for students who will be entering Grades 1–3 in Fall 2023. Primary UYP is offered for two weeks. Students entering Grades 1–3 can attend Primary UYP and need not be formally identified as gifted to attend and do not need to apply to participate in the program. When registration opens, primary students are free to register. More specific information about the sessions offered and registration will be shared soon.

  • Session I: June 5–9

  • Session II: June 12–16 

UYP

This program is for students who will be entering Grades 4–12 in Fall 2023. Students entering Grades 4–12 must submit an application for the program unless they have been accepted prior to 2023. If your child was accepted to UYP prior to 2023, you do not have to resubmit an application. More specific information about the sessions offered and registration will be shared soon. The course catalog is typically released in March or April. 

  • Session I: June 5–9

  • Session II: June 12–16 

At this time, our summer programs are day programs held on Baylor's campus. The Center is planning on expanding to residential programs in future summers. Information will be shared as soon as we are able to offer residential programs.
