Grades 8-12: Baylor TIP
TIP Program Options
TIP students in grades 8-12 have a variety of year-round program options. Current offerings include summer programs, Super Saturdays, online courses, and career and interest development. Future offerings will include clubs and societies, academic competitions, and study abroad.
Additionally, we are offering two levels of academic courses: Baylor TIP Academy courses and Baylor TIP Lyceum courses. Designed specifically for Baylor TIP Green Scholars and Baylor TIP Gold Scholars, Lyceum courses will focus on more advanced material and will move at a faster pace than the Baylor TIP Academy courses. Baylor TIP Scholars who begin with an Academy course and do well in it may take a Lyceum level course the following year. We are also planning a third level of courses, Baylor TIP Paideia, that students may take after demonstrating success in a Lyceum class.
Online Courses
New this year, online courses will be available for the first time as semester-long options! Some high-school level math courses will be available and a college level engineering course will be offered. More details are forthcoming. Summer Residential Programming
Baylor TIP's inaugural courses for students entering Grades 8–12 were offered in June 2023. In the summer of 2024, we offered both commuter and residential options! Students selected one class to take for the duration of the week. They chose whether or not to stay overnight with us in the dorms and experience Baylor residential life. Day students had the same course offerings, and were able to choose to participate in evening activities if they wished.

Super Saturday Programming
Super Saturdays are our weekend course offerings during the school year. Traditionally offered in the fall and spring, this year's offerings will run as a sequence of three half-day offerings. The fall Super Saturday options will be on September 7th, September 21st, and October 5th.
