Grades 4-12 Admission
Grades 4 - 7 have two pathways of programming. Students may take the TIP test and those who meet the criteria will be admitted into the Baylor TIP Intermediate program. Alternatively, students may choose to participate in the DECATS program, which does not require TIP admission or TIP testing. DECATS does require proof of gifted identification for admission which can come in many forms. For details, visit the DECATS page.
Grades 8-12 enter TIP programming through testing with the TIP test, and most students take the 7th grade Talent Search pathway to find their appropriate level within the program (Academy or Lyceum). For more detailed information, select the appropriate option below.
